Job summary

The Center seeks a Bilingual On Duty Client Crisis Responder to be onsite at The Center for on-demand telephone and walk-in interventions. You will triage needs, provide crisis de-escalation, shelter referrals, and connect to resources for homelessness and food insecurity, within a multidisciplinary team.

Requires at least one year in case management and fluency in English and Spanish. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HMIS/CIE systems is expected.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in case management and client systems navigation is required. Must have knowledge of the housing first model, harm reduction principles, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel in PC/Windows environments.
• Ability to work well in multicultural teams and with diverse constituencies; self-motivated, highly organized, able to work under pressure and produce quality work.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems navigation and short-term case management to households.
• On-demand client telephone and walk-in interventions.
• Staff the monthly food distribution and weekly Project Compassion events.
• Maintain regular contact with landlords and mediate lease issues.
• Complete timely program documentation and ensure grant deliverables.
• Enter data into HMIS and use CIE as a case management tool.
