HOPE Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join the OB/GYN team at our Beltway location. The MA will perform clinical and clerical duties, collect samples, manage patient records, and assist in examinations under a licensed provider.

The candidate should have a CMA or RMA certification (or obtain within 3 months), and at least a high school diploma; associate degree is a plus. Bilingual English and additional language skills are preferred.

Qualificações

• Completion of a program of training for Medical Assistants is required.
• CMA or RMA is required or must obtain within 3-month probationary period
• Knowledgeable of HIPAA standards and privacy requirements
• Experienced with medical office equipment and basic software

Responsabilidades

• Manage front desk, eligibility, and checkout procedures.
• Place patients in exam rooms and document history and vital signs.
• Assist in examination and procedures under provider supervision.
• Provide vaccines, immunizations, and injections as ordered.
• Discharge patients with provider instructions and necessary documents.
• Perform venipuncture, urinalysis, glucose, and ECG.
• Maintain exam rooms and nursing station supplies.
• Ensure patient flow by reviewing schedules and follow-ups.
• Provide translation assistance as needed.
• Support performance improvement activities and team huddles.
