Job summary

Oportun in Hawthorne, CA seeks a Bilingual English and Spanish Member Loyalty Representative. You will greet members, process transactions, and educate communities about our affordable financial services.

You’ll travel to outreach events and partner locations, building relationships with local businesses while meeting daily lending and servicing goals. A weekend schedule and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Must be available to work weekends and be flexible with rotating schedule. Schedules set every two weeks.
• Must have regular, reliable attendance to support store operations.
• Must be willing and able to work outdoors year-round to identify new sales opportunities.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, as needed.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members with a warm greeting and provide quality member service.
• Seamlessly process all transactions and protect members’ information.
• Work independently or as part of a team, achieving daily goals in lending and servicing activities.
• Educate potential members about Oportun’s services through outreach at stores, partner locations and events.
• Travel between designated work locations within a reasonable commuting distance as part of duties.
