Job summary

Oportun is hiring for Member Loyalty Representatives to deliver friendly, accurate service to members in our Austin-area stores. You will process transactions, educate customers about our affordable financial products, and participate in outreach to build community relationships.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, weekend availability, and comfort working outdoors at events or partner sites.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Weekend availability and flexible schedule required.
• Regular, reliable attendance to support store operations.
• Outdoor work required year-round to identify sales opportunities.
• Ability to lift/move objects up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Basic computer skills; able to operate phones, scanners, iPads.
• Ability to organize and file paper documents.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members with a warm greeting and provide quality member service.
• Process transactions accurately while following policies and protecting member information.
• Work with team or independently to exceed daily lending and servicing goals.
• Engage in community outreach and education to inform potential members of Oportun’s services.
• Assist with outreach activities at stores, partner locations, and events.
