Oportun in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a Bilingual English and Spanish Member Loyalty Representative to deliver warm, personalized member service in-store and at outreach events.

You will educate members about accessible financial services, process transactions, and build relationships with local businesses and community partners while meeting daily goals.

This role requires weekend availability, reliable attendance, and the ability to work outdoors at events and partner sites.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Outgoing, sales-focused attitude; enjoy talking with people.
• Ability to help members and prospective members through outreach and education.
• Available to work weekends with a rotating schedule.
• Regular, reliable attendance is essential for store operations.
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round for outreach activities.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate office equipment.
• Able to organize and file paper documents.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members with a warm greeting and provide quality member service.
• Process transactions following company policies and protect members' information.
• Work as a team or independently and exceed daily lending and servicing goals.
• Educate potential members about Oportun’s services during outreach at stores and community events.
• Support outreach activities by building relationships with local businesses and attendees.
• Utilize iPads or QR codes to start new applications during outreach.
