Axis Community Health in Livermore, CA is seeking a Medication Refill Coordinator to manage patient medication refills across multiple sites and handle prior authorizations as needed.

The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, accurate data entry, and collaboration with providers and clinical staff to maintain efficient patient services, while ensuring confidentiality and professional conduct.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of medical office duties; appointment scheduling and insurance knowledge a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish; able to communicate with diverse patients.
• Proven ability to build relationships; service oriented.
• Medical terminology familiarity; Epic is a plus.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and professional communication.
• Process and deadline driven; able to multitask and be dependable.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and writing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate medication refills for patients across multiple sites.
• Complete prior authorizations for medications, if needed.
• Meet established quality and productivity standards and deadlines.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to efficiently handle patient services.
• Provide outstanding customer service to clients and maintain a positive organizational image.
• Follow up with medical providers to ensure documentation and reduce backlogs.
• Provide timely and accurate data entry; verify medications with providers.
• Provide backup assistance and cover other duties as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and training events; perform related duties as assigned.
