Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of medical office duties; appointment scheduling and insurance knowledge a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish; able to communicate with diverse patients.
• Proven ability to build relationships; service oriented.
• Medical terminology familiarity; Epic is a plus.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and professional communication.
• Process and deadline driven; able to multitask and be dependable.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication refills for patients across multiple sites.
• Complete prior authorizations for medications, if needed.
• Meet established quality and productivity standards and deadlines.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to efficiently handle patient services.
• Provide outstanding customer service to clients and maintain a positive organizational image.
• Follow up with medical providers to ensure documentation and reduce backlogs.
• Provide timely and accurate data entry; verify medications with providers.
• Provide backup assistance and cover other duties as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and training events; perform related duties as assigned.
