Rita Staffing is seeking a Medical Scheduler in Lakeland, FL to handle a high volume of calls, schedule and reschedule appointments, verify patient information, and navigate the scheduling steps including exam tasks and CPT codes.

Requirements include knowledge of imaging studies, strong customer service, bilingual English and Spanish, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and fast data entry.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; pay is $17.00-$18.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about imaging studies to answer patient or referring physician questions.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong data entry and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive a high volume of telephone calls to schedule and reschedule appointments.
• Verify and update patient information.
• Navigate scheduling steps including assigning exam tasks, referring physician information, selecting the correct exam, and spelling medical terms and diagnoses.
• Identify the correct CPT codes and fees for self-pay exams.
