Perform all medical receptionist functions at primary care and community-based health centers for underserved populations. The Medical Receptionist will report to the Health Center Administrator.
Age of Patient Populations Served: Pediatric (0 - 19 yrs); Adult (19 – 64 yrs); and Geriatric (65 yrs & older). Non-age Specific Task (N/A) Population: Bariatric Patients with BMI greater than 40, or greater than 35 with weight-related comorbidities. Patients may have exceptional communication needs, developmental delays, or be at the end of life. Other precautions, including isolation, may be required for all populations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must speak fluent Spanish and English. One to two years of experience in a medical office environment
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
