Job summary

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent; 40 hours of interpreter training.
• Preferred: AS/BS or BA degree; 8-10 hours of medical interpreter training.

Responsibilities

• Greet SJH customers and provide concierge and wayfinding assistance.
• Manage patient flow and maintain professional communication with patients, families, staff, and visitors.
• Adhere to SJH policies, protect patient confidentiality, and escalate issues when needed.
• Assist Language Access with interpretation requests and travel to clinics if required.
