Job summary

Bethany Christian Services USA LLC in Reading, PA is seeking a Medical Coordinator to coordinate health services for children in care, maintain medical records, liaise with clinicians and case managers, and ensure compliance with state licensing.

The role requires 1+ year in public health or healthcare, LPN/LVN or RN with degree, or relevant bachelor’s, plus strong communication and confidentiality. Travel for provider visits and on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in public health or healthcare setting with care coordination, health administration, or direct clinical care.
• Licensed practical or vocational nurse (LPN/LVN) or higher health-related qualification OR a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate health services for children in care, maintain confidential medical records, and communicate health needs to case managers and clinicians.
• Schedule health care appointments and transportation, ensure interpretation/translation services, and liaise with community providers.
• Maintain medical files in the program portal and ensure records are up to date.
• Provide resources and reports upon discharge; ensure documentation compliance with licensing requirements.
