Job summary

VIPcare is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support under physicians and APPs. You will prepare patients, document encounters in the EMR, assist with examinations, administer meds, and support front office tasks to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Bilingual Spanish is required and training for Medicare Advantage workflows is a plus. You will work in a value-based care environment focused on preventive care and improved outcomes, with schedule Monday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or equivalent certification).
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician practice, outpatient, or ambulatory care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and prepare them for examinations and document clinical information in EMR.
• Measure vital signs and assist during examinations.
• Administer medications and perform CLIA-waived lab testing as directed.
• Provide front office support: scheduling, registrations, referrals, and patient communications.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and ensure patient confidentiality.
