Job summary

VIPcare in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and administrative support under a physician, PA, or APRN. You will prepare patients for examinations, document in the EMR, assist during visits, and support front office operations for safe, high-quality care.

Ideal candidates are bilingual in Spanish, have 1+ year MA experience, and hold or are pursuing CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA certification.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish required and OSHA/ HIPAA awareness.
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience in a clinician setting preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred; CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA may be considered.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtained within organizational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prep patients for provider examinations by collecting history and vitals.
• Assist clinicians during exams and procedures, med administration, and wound care.
• Document encounters, results, and treatments accurately in the EMR.
• Handle front office duties: scheduling, registrations, referrals, and reminders.
