Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to support clinicians with patient information, vitals, screenings, and phlebotomy in our Chicago, IL centers. The role requires bilingual Spanish skills, relevant MA certification, and EMR experience.

You will collaborate with care teams to ensure accurate data, efficient patient flow, and high-quality care. On-site, full-time position with competitive benefits and safety-focused culture.

Formación

• State or national certification (as required by state), or graduation from an accredited medical assistant course.
• 1 year experience as a medical assistant.
• CPR or BLS Certification.
• Electronic Medical Record experience.
• Computer skills: Gmail, MS Word or Google Docs, Excel or Google Sheets.
• Proficiency in non-English languages as required by the center's demographics.
• US work authorization.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients in a timely manner and record vital signs.
• Complete required screenings and medication reviews.
• Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic support.
• Administer vaccinations and point-of-care tests as permitted by state regulations.
• Import documents into EMR via scanning or PDF upload.
• Participate in care team meetings and discuss patient care and clinic operations.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment.
• Request medical records from external providers as required.
• Conduct routine quality control checks including infection control measures.
