The role requires certification or MA program graduation, 1 year of MA experience, CPR/BLS, EMR proficiency, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• State or national certification (as required by state) or graduation from an accredited MA program.
• 1 year experience as a medical assistant.
• CPR/BLS certification and EMR experience.
• Proficiency with computer programs (Gmail, Word, Excel).

Responsabilités

• Manage patient flow, room patients, record vital signs and screenings.
• Inventory and restock exam rooms and supplies.
• Provide telephonic support for patient requests and lab results.
• Assist with vaccinations and point-of-care testing as allowed.
• Enter documents into EMR and collaborate in care team meetings.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment and obtain records as needed.
