Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect support to the clinician in patient care.
• Prepares exam room, chart, and patient for the practitioner.
• Administers medications, including vaccines (non-IV).
• Arranges outside referral appointments.
• Provides patient education under supervision.
• Follows direct supervision of physician, RN, or midlevel practitioner.
• Performs lab specimen collection, injections, phlebotomy, and in-house tests.
