Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in a busy primary care setting in Texas. You will perform patient intake, record vital signs, administer medications and vaccines, collect specimens, and help prepare exam rooms for procedures.

The role requires CMA certification, knowledge of medical terminology, and strict adherence to safety and privacy policies. New grads are welcome to apply; on-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with occasional

Qualifikationen

• Certified Medical Assistant certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and safety procedures.
• Ability to administer injections and draw blood.
• Proficiency in documenting patient information and privacy compliance.

Aufgaben

• Assist with patient examinations and treatments under physician guidance.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms; maintain cleanliness and stock supplies.
• Guide patients from waiting room and prepare for examination.
• Interview patients and update medical records; collect detailed medical information.
• Record vital signs and prepare patients for exams, tests, procedures, and x-rays.
• Perform ECGs and collect blood/urine samples for processing.
• Administer routine medications and vaccinations; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Change dressings and remove sutures/staples when requested.
