Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care seeks a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care, handling administrative tasks and direct clinical duties onsite. You will work with physicians and advanced practice providers, perform vital signs, venipuncture, vaccine administration, and maintain sterile exam rooms within standard policies.

Qualifications include MA school or certification, CPR, a high school diploma, and bilingual English/Spanish skills with a proficiency exam.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam before foreign language communication

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, administer medications and vaccines
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens and conduct diagnostic screening tests
• Sterilize and clean equipment, maintain examination rooms, document information in EMR
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
• Deliver direct patient care within scope of active certification
• Follow procedures and prioritize tasks within defined standards
