Conviva Senior Primary Care in Homestead, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant 2 to be the first point of contact for patient care. This onsite role includes both clinical duties and administrative tasks, under supervision in Central Administration.

You will perform vital signs, phlebotomy, vaccine administration, documentation in EMR, and collaborate with physicians. A bilingual English/Spanish requirement and TB screening are included, with a 40-hour work week and potential bonus opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam before foreign language communication
• This role is part of Humana's TB screening program and requires TB screening if selected

Aufgaben

• Perform Clinical responsibilities including discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, and administering medications and vaccines
• Phlebotomy, collecting specimens, and conducting diagnostic screening tests
• Sterilize and clean equipment, maintain examination rooms, and document information into the electronic medical records system
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
• Deliver direct patient care within certification limits
• Identify work priorities and quality standards within defined parameters
• Follow standard procedures allowing interpretation/deviation
