Job summary

NEO Surgical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support and front desk coverage across clinic locations in Florida. The role balances patient care, documentation in EHR, appointment coordination, and insurance verification while supporting smooth daily operations.

The candidate should be flexible, detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and willing to travel between locations as needed. Prior front desk experience is a plus, and bilingual abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred but not required.
• Experience in medical assisting or front desk duties is a plus.
• Experience assisting with C-arm procedures is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work Saturdays and travel between locations.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, venipuncture, specimen collection, assist with DME and wound care.
• Assist physicians during minimally invasive procedures using a C-arm, ensuring proper positioning and support for imaging.
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for use and keep areas clean.
• Monitor and support patients during and after procedures and assist providers as needed.
• Document patient information accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Greet patients, handle check-in/check-out, and schedule appointments to optimize flow.
• Verify insurance information and manage patient intake; answer calls with empathetic communication.
• Maintain front desk operations, inventory, and filing of patient charts.
