Job summary

ChenMed in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Care Promoter 1 to support our physician-led primary care centers. The role blends clinical support with administrative tasks to keep centers running smoothly.

You will work under physician supervision, handling vital signs, patient prep, basic procedures, and medication support while ensuring compassionate patient care. Eligible candidates have a Medical Assistant/EMT/Paramedic background, a high school diploma, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from Medical Assistant, EMT or Paramedic program required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP and clinical staff.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians.
• Observe patient conditions and report changes.
• Perform routine medical procedures and collect lab specimens.
• Administer medications under supervision and manage dressings.
• Maintain supplies and ensure OSHA safety standards.
• Handle patient communications and prescription requests with accuracy.
