Job summary

Access Community Health Network is hiring a clinical support professional to work with a multidisciplinary team, assisting providers with procedures, taking vital signs, for phlebotomy and injections, and guiding patients through scheduling and records management.

Proficiency in Spanish and familiarity with Epic EHR are preferred, along with basic Microsoft Office skills. This on-site role offers healthcare benefits, training, and opportunities to advance in a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical office or health care environment in patient registration, referrals, medical assisting, or customer service.
• 1 year of EHR systems experience preferred; Epic is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish desired.
• Beginning proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Work with a skilled care team to provide health services and resources to patients.
• Assist providers with onsite procedures.
• Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and administer medications/vaccines as directed.
• Assist patients by answering questions, returning calls, scheduling appointments, and reviewing medical records.
• Continue to expand knowledge through clinical and Epic training.

Position Summary

• Work in collaboration with a skilled care team that includes dedicated providers, benefits specialists, front desk receptionists, behavioral health consultants and others to provide quality health services and resources to meet our patients’ needs.
• Assist providers with onsite procedures.
• Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and administer medications/vaccines directly to patients.
• Assist patients by responding to questions, returning calls, scheduling appointments and reviewing medical records.
• Continue to grow your knowledge base through extensive clinical training and technical training with Epic, one of the leading Electronic Medical Record Systems globally.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1-year experience in a clinical office or health care environment in patient registration, referrals, medical assisting or customer service required.
• 1-year EHR Systems experience, preferred, EPIC a plus

The pay ranges provided represent the minimum to mid-range for positions. Actual compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors including years of experience, educational background, market conditions, and available grant funding.
