Job summary

USA Clinics Group in Huntington Beach is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient office workflow while supporting the physician before, during and after procedures, ensuring an excellent service experience.

Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday at the Huntington Beach clinic with compensation of $21-$25 per hour. Must be fluent in English and Spanish; paid training with sessions in LA clinics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or similar role.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program; CMA/CCMA/RMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks: phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Document patient interactions in EMR/EHR accurately.
• Deliver exceptional patient service in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health.

Position Summary:

In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experienceas a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician)
• Experience performing clinical duties such asvital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, CCMA, or RMA preferred
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,
• Fluency in Spanish & English
