Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs with efficient office workflow and provide support to physicians during procedures. You will help ensure an excellent service experience for every patient.

The role requires 1–2 years of clinical hands-on experience, CMA/RMA/CCMA is preferred, and bilingual Spanish/English abilities are essential. Training is provided, with locations in Glendale, West Hollywood, and Valley Village, and a typical schedule Mon, Fri, Sat.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role, required.
• Experience performing vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Completion of MA training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing experience in a fast-paced environment, required.
• Fluency in Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, specimen collection, and related duties.
• Document patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service in a high-volume clinical setting.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar.
• Support patient care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care, hospitals or home health.
• Leverage bilingual communication to support patient interactions.

Position Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday, Friday, and Saturday
• Locations: Glendale, West Hollywood, Valley Village
• Compensation: $21-$25/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required.
• Fluency in Spanish & English required
