Job summary

The Legacy Apartments in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Full Time Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant units, perform turn-over repairs, and assist the maintenance team. Duties include keeping grounds clean and safe, reporting issues, and delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires at least 12 months of onsite experience, knowledge of painting, basic makeready skills, and bilingual Spanish. Overtime and weekend work may be required to maintain market-ready status.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of onsite experience.
• Should have knowledge of painting.
• Basic makeready skills.
• Knowledge of how to make keys and rekey units.
• Knowledge of appliances.
• Able to frequently stand; walk; push, pull, lift or carry up to 40 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements.
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas.
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris.
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
