Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC seeks a Service Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves responding to service requests, completing preventative maintenance, and coordinating vendor work as part of a busy maintenance team.

The position requires lifting, outdoor work in all weather, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) are required for applicable technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance following safety standards and codes.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes by performing make-ready tasks, inspections, and coordinating vendors as needed.
• Tracks inventory, accesses materials from the maintenance department, and notifies supervisors when re-ordering is required.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure accurate records.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, assists with cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible and using tools efficiently.
