Job summary

RDE Maintenance Services is hiring a bilingual Maintenance Technician to support an onsite property community. The role involves HVAC, painting, plumbing, electrical, and appliance maintenance, requiring autonomy and strict adherence to health and safety guidelines.

The candidate should have a proven maintenance background, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to communicate in English and Spanish. Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $28.00 per hour with standard benefits.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; HVAC or building maintenance cert is a plus.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Experience as a maintenance technician in a property/community setting preferred.
Ability to work overtime and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

Inspect buildings and repair mechanical systems to meet health and safety standards
Perform electrical maintenance (replace bulbs, service panels)
Assist in installing ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
Maintain heating, cooling, and plumbing systems for functionality
Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed
Carry out manual repairs (locks, windows, etc.)
Conduct pest control activities as needed
Perform general upkeep (landscaping, porterage, painting, carpentry)
Complete tasks assigned by the property manager
