Job summary

The JobSquad Solutions Team is seeking a 3rd Shift- Food Industry Maintenance Tech in Melrose Park, IL to help keep production running and minimize downtime. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance, a strong electrical background with PLCs, and experience with high-speed packaging machinery in a bakery/food environment.

Must be able to lift 60 pounds, stand long hours, and work overtime including weekends. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

Must have 2 years of Maintenance Technician experience.
Must have strong electrical background PLC, working with highspeed packaging machinery and automation.
2-5 years' working in the industrial bakery or food manufacturing environment.
Responsible for production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
Knowledgeable in set up, adjustment, maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment used in the production facility.
Must have electrical and mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

Knowledgeable in supporting equipment (such as ovens, packing lines, conveyors) plumbing, pneumatic hydraulics, and cutting.
Electrical, PLC Diagnostics, Welding MIG, TIG, Stick a plus.
Strong Mechanical and Problem-Solving Skills.
Excellent trouble-shooting skills
