Job summary

Healthcare Alternative Systems (HAS) in Chicago seeks a Harm Reduction Coordinator – Lead LPN to plan, coordinate, and implement Harm Reduction services. You will oversee the creation of HAS's Harm Reduction Program, engaging individuals with opioid use disorder and linking them to prevention, treatment, and harm reduction resources.

The role requires an Illinois LPN license, 2 years in methadone settings, on-site work, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have valid unrestricted Illinois LPN license.
• Two years' experience in methadone field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• On-site work required.
• Valid Illinois driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispense methadone and record dosing per RX orders.
• Maintain medication accountability and inventory.
• Enter orders in SAMMS and update dosing history.
• Perform breathalyzer readings and TB risk procedures.
• Complete mandated logs, audits and DPI-related tasks.
• Take vital signs and assist in intake where needed.
