Job summary

Rincon Family Services in Chicago is seeking a part-time Nurse LPN to provide essential therapeutic services in our Substance Use Program. This role includes dispensing Methadone, conducting health assessments, and working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to address client needs effectively.

Ideal candidates will possess a current LPN license in Illinois, have experience in substance use treatment, and be culturally competent. Flexibility in scheduling, including early mornings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Methadone dispensing and accounting.
• Detail-oriented and capable of record keeping.
• Knowledge of mental illness issues and cultural competence.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services in a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain a clean environment for medical services.
• Dispense Methadone and monitor clients.

Skills

Substance use medicine

Knowledge of infectious diseases

Effective communication

Fluency in Spanish

Education

Current license as an RN or LPN in Illinois

Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Methadone Dispensing
