Job summary

The Law Offices of Kanner & Pintaluga in Boca Raton, FL seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys, manage case files, and prepare for trial. Duties include calendar management, deposition scheduling, document management, and e-filing in Florida courts.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of litigation experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent client communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience required.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Experience e-filing in state and federal courts preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with clients and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Perform secretarial, clerical, and data entry duties.
• Maintain attorney’s calendar.
• Schedule depositions, pre-depositions, meetings, hearings.
• Document management using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe.
• E-file legal documents in Florida’s E-Portal System.
• Assist attorneys in depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
• Draft legal pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
• Send out correspondence via email, regular mail, or certified mail.
• Communicate with clients.
• Set up Court Calls or Zoom for hearings.
• Maintain all case files.
