Job summary

Kanner & Pintaluga in Tampa, FL, seeks a Trial Paralegal to support high-value litigation. You will partner with attorneys on case management, discovery, and end-to-end trial readiness, including notebooks, exhibits, witnesses, and coordinating experts and trial logistics.

Requirements include 5+ years in litigation, bilingual English/Spanish, e-filing in state courts, proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience with hands-on trial preparation.
• Excellent organization, calendaring, and deadline management.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain attorney calendars and deadlines, and manage trial/hearing schedules.
• Schedule depositions, mediations, meetings, and other case events.
• Manage case documents using MS Word/Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and FileVine.
• E-file state court documents and assist with federal filings as needed.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences, coordinating witnesses and exhibits.
• Draft court filings, pleadings, motions, affidavits, and discovery responses.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibit lists, and other trial materials.
• Coordinate experts and trial logistics, including courtroom tech.
• Attend trial/pre-trial meetings and drive action items to completion.
• Communicate professionally with clients, counsel, courts, and vendors.
