Job summary

The Ward Law Group, a leading personal injury firm in Miami Lakes, FL, seeks an experienced Lien Resolution Specialist to negotiate hospital liens and medical balances and move cases toward closing. You will manage a high-volume caseload, maintain accurate records in Litify, coordinate with attorneys, and keep clients informed while delivering measurable reductions and timely settlements.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in plaintiff personal injury reduction or lien resolution.
• Experience negotiating hospital and medical provider balances with documented results.
• Experience managing reductions from balance verification to closing.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong negotiation and client communication skills.
• Proficiency with legal case management software; Litify preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate hospital liens and medical balances under attorney supervision.
• Review bills, verify balances, and obtain supporting documents.
• Submit reduction requests and secure written agreements.
• Manage a high-volume reductions caseload and prioritize aging files.
• Maintain balances, notes, agreements, and case updates in Litify.
• Coordinate with attorneys to verify figures for closing statements.
• Update clients on progress and refer disputes to the attorney.
• Meet departmental targets for reductions, timing, productivity, and accuracy.
