Job summary

The Yuma County Library District is seeking a bilingual Spanish Outreach Coordinator to coordinate Spanish language library services for the public and to supervise on-site staff. The role includes outreach, training, reporting, and program development; duties may shift to other branches as needed.

Responsibilities include generating statistics, selecting Spanish language materials, marketing outreach with the Community Relations Manager, and delivering presentations to Spanish-speaking

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English, including speaking, reading and writing.
• Two years of experience in library services or related field.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one, background check required.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Spanish language library services for the public.
• Lead staff, assign schedules, and oversee library functions in supervisor’s absence.
• Assist with training, orientation, and program statistics reporting.
• Review, select, and order Spanish language materials; conduct outreach.
• Deliver presentations and provide user assistance in Spanish; respond to inquiries.
• Maintain records, registers, and reports; assist with event registrations and outreach activities.
