Job summary

The SF LGBT Center in San Francisco seeks a Bilingual Employment Services Specialist to help clients in English and Spanish with job searches, case management, and placement support. You will work a mix of on-site and remote activities, coordinate workshops, develop individual employment plans, and connect participants with community resources to overcome barriers to employment.

Strong documentation, confidentiality, and collaboration with partner agencies are essential in this pivotal role

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• At least 1 year of experience in workforce development or related field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with diverse communities.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic CRM/spreadsheet usage.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group job search and coaching for clients in English and Spanish.
• Assess eligibility and refer to appropriate resources.
• Develop Individual Employment Plans with enrolled clients.
• Coordinate and facilitate workshops and life skills classes for the LGBTQ community.
• Maintain client files and ensure confidentiality of records.
• Collaborate with partner agencies and Center teams.
