Residential One is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations for our multi-family properties. The role includes greeting prospects, processing applications, coordinating move-ins, and maintaining accurate records while upholding Fair Housing standards.

The position covers duties from leasing to resident retention and requires strong customer service, organization, and knowledge of market competition.

Qualifications

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria
• Record visits on appropriate reports
• Maintain guest cards and follow procedures
• Explain community features and benefits to prospects
• Assist applicants with applications and deposits
• Process applications including credit checks and rental history
• Prepare units for move-in and coordinate turnovers
• Follow up with non-closing prospects and attempt to close

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria; record visits
• File guest cards and maintain procedures
• Inspect models and communicate service needs
• Demonstrate amenities and close the sale
• Collect application and deposit per procedures
• Process applications and approvals (credit check, history)
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on date
• Follow up with prospective residents to close sale
• Orient new residents to community
• Monitor renewals and distributions
• Evaluate advertising effectiveness and market competition
• Maintain professional company representation
• Accept payments and forward to appropriate party
• Keep resident files and daily inspections updated
• Distribute notices and maintain lease records
• Support management with various tasks
• Ensure policy adherence
