Zekelman Industries is seeking a Leasing Associate for the FLATZ 432 community in Midland, TX. You will drive occupancy by delivering a professional, welcoming experience to prospective residents and showcasing the community's lifestyle and amenities.

This role supports the full leasing cycle from inquiry to move-in, with a flexible schedule including weekends. Strong communication, bilingual English/Spanish, and CRM proficiency are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or residential property management.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Proficient in CRM platforms, leasing software, and other digital business tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and close leases.
• Professional, goal-oriented, and highly motivated in a customer-focused environment.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations preferred.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and occasional evenings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organization in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Greets and qualifies prospective residents while coordinating and conducting property tours.
• Promotes apartment home features, community amenities, and lifestyle benefits to drive leasing activity.
• Responds promptly to leasing inquiries through phone, email, and online platforms to maximize lead conversion.
• Processes rental applications, conducts background screenings, and prepares lease documentation in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Facilitates lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs to ensure a seamless resident experience.
• Maintains accurate prospect and resident records using CRM and leasing management systems.
• Supports resident retention initiatives and executes lease renewal campaigns to improve occupancy.
• Participates in marketing efforts, outreach events, and lead-generation activities to increase community visibility.
• Ensures model units and common areas remain clean, organized, and tour-ready at all times.
• Assists with planning and coordinating resident events, promotions, and community engagement activities.
• Promotes and upholds workplace safety in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
