Texas Inter-Faith Management/40i in Houston, TX is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support day-to-day property operations and assist the Property Manager with resident satisfaction, leasing, renewals, and rent collection. The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of affordable property management experience, a solid understanding of Low-Income Housing, HUD, vouchers, and related funding,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of affordable property management experience.
• Strong understanding of Low-Income Housing, HUD, vouchers, and funding sources; compliance with affordable housing.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, prospective residents, vendors, supervisors, and employees.
• Maintain professionalism in resident and leasing matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager with daily property operations and resident lifecycle.
• Handle rent collection, delinquency, and move-out statements.
• Lease available units and assist prospective residents through leasing.
• Renew existing leases and support marketing efforts.
• Maintain excellent customer service with residents and vendors.
• Conduct market research and monitor leasing activity.
• Comply with policies, health and safety rules, and Fair Housing laws.
• Support operations as directed by Property Manager.
