Job summary

Westdale Asset Management in Houston is seeking a Leasing Consultant to warmly greet prospects, show apartments, close leases, and process rental applications in compliance with fair housing laws. You will be the first point of contact and help potential residents find their perfect home.

The role requires at least 1 year of leasing experience, bilingual English/Spanish, excellent communication, and the ability to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leasing consultant experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Good leasing and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to type 30 WPM and be organized.
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi or other similar programs.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and residents
• Answering and returning resident calls, as well as email requests
• Completing guest cards and lease paperwork correctly and timely
• Selling features and amenities to prospective residents
• Showing apartments
• Securing leases

Rate: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

***Monthly new lease AND renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.***

Work Days: Monday – Saturday
Work Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm; Wednesday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm; Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Required License or Certification: Valid Texas Driver’s License.
