Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a System Owner within the Unity Lab Services LAMP team to ensure equipment reliability and proper CMMS workflow. You will partner with laboratory staff, service providers, and cross-functional teams to keep instruments ready for use and service activities well-coordinated.

In this role you will manage records in CMMS/Maximo, support calibration, procurement, and asset lifecycle activities, and contribute to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in laboratory operations or related field.
• Bilingual Spanish & English required.
• Knowledge of CMMS/Maximo and asset management workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter resource and primary contact for the supported laboratory area.
• Maintain CMMS/Maximo records and support work orders.
• Coordinate maintenance, calibration, and service activities with stakeholders.
• Review documentation for completeness and proper routing in CMMS.
• Support Administrative Asset Entry (AAE) and CMMS data changes.
• Provide basic equipment troubleshooting with lab staff.
• Support new equipment and capital projects, including PO management.
• Monitor equipment status and communicate updates to users.
• Support vendor activities and site access as applicable.
• Support quality, safety, and compliance activities.
• Generate or support operational reports and continuous improvement opportunities.
