Thermo Fisher Scientific in Massachusetts is seeking an Associate Asset Manager to support Asset Management Services in a customer laboratory environment. You will liaise between lab staff, service vendors, and Unity Lab Services to ensure reliable operations and high-level customer support.

The role is on-site in Waltham, MA, 5 days a week, starting at 8:00 AM. Requires 4+ years in lab operations and strong CMMS/Microsoft Office skills with GMP/GLP awareness.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years in lab operations and customer support.
• Experience with inventory management and asset tracking.
• Familiarity with GMP/GLP regulatory expectations is preferred.
• Proficient with CMMS and Microsoft Office; strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Monitor InSight system and review alarms to reduce after-hours activity.
• Review equipment trends and coordinate follow-up before failures.
• Monitor temperature system health and troubleshoot issues.
• Administer InSight monitoring system and asset inventory.
• Perform basic onsite troubleshooting and escalate when needed.
• Provide end-user support and education on InSight usage.
• Coordinate vendor escort activities per site requirements.
• Support AMS asset management and data quality activities.
• Assist with annual physical inventory and asset verification.
• Collaborate with ULS/AMS teams on service improvements.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and policies.
• Support after-hours Laboratory Emergency Response Team (LERT) on-call.
