Cushman & Wakefield in Los Angeles is seeking a Janitorial Account Manager to oversee custodial services across client facilities, ensuring quality, safety, and performance while leading the janitorial team on a daily basis.

You will coordinate staffing, training, scheduling, and reporting, manage budgets and vendor tools, respond to customer needs, and uphold company standards for cleanliness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Five years of janitorial management or commercial cleaning leadership.
• Direct experience managing teams of 20 or more employees.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer systems.
• Ability to follow and convey instructions; maintain client relationships.
• Knowledge of labor and material estimating, planning, and workflows.
• Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings and operate cleaning equipment.
• Valid driver's license and capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all custodial staff and cleaning operations across client properties, ensuring work meets quality standards.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor the janitorial team; provide performance feedback and development ideas.
• Train staff on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, safety practices, and customer service expectations.
• Oversee daily operations: staffing coverage, shift planning, timecard processing, reporting.
• Respond to customer concerns and service requests; ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance across areas.
• Support month-end close with Hubble reports, journal entries, and GL review.
• Solicit service contracts and SLAs; manage POs; bill customer work orders (Vroozi, MyAP, Works).
• Assist with budgeting and monthly financial reporting; perform cleaning duties as needed.
• Order and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment; ensure safe chemical use.
• Collaborate with internal teams to foster a positive work environment and strong client relationships.
