Covert Special Investigations, Inc. seeks an Arizona Professional Investigator to support auto, fire, theft, and workers' compensation investigations.

The role is hybrid field-based in the Phoenix metro area with occasional travel, and Spanish bilinguals are highly valued. Applicants must have at least one year of related investigative experience, a valid Arizona driver's license, and the ability to qualify for Arizona DPS Private Investigator registration.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of investigative or related professional experience.
• Ability to qualify for Arizona DPS Private Investigator registration.
• Proficiency with laptops, smartphones, Microsoft Office, and digital documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex automobile claims including theft, fire, vandalism, staged losses, and liability investigations.
• Conduct workers' compensation investigations including AOE/COE investigations, scene inspections, recorded statements, and evidence collection.
• Develop investigative strategies based on the facts of each assignment.
• Collect, preserve, and analyze evidence including police reports, public records, and interviews.
• Prepare professional, objective client-ready investigative reports.
• Communicate progress with clients on a regular basis.
• Manage investigations from assignment through completion and adapt as needed.
• Travel throughout Arizona as assignments require.
