Qualifications

• Current state license
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
• Experience in full room inclusion or co-teaching in a resource room
• Growth-focused coaching with frequent observations and planning
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Word and Outlook
• Excellent organization and time management
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks
• Experience in a multi-cultural setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to interpret abilities and disabilities and adapt interventions
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction
• Conduct functional behavior assessments
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans
• Lead IEP meetings and write goals and objectives
• Meet goals related to student achievement and school culture
• Apply research-based teaching practices and culturally responsive instruction
• Advise a group of students and communicate with families
• Assist in planning non-instructional activities such as events and field trips
• Perform other duties as assigned
