Ser Metro is seeking an Intake/Data Specialist (Part-Time) for Ford Community Center in Detroit, MI. You will assist with initial applicant assessments, maintain an accurate database, and handle data entry for program activities.

Evening/weekend hours may be required, with a focus on customer relations and compliance. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of data entry and customer service experience, and bilingual Spanish/English skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years data entry and customer service experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred; strong written and verbal communication.
• Computer skills to maintain a database and generate reports; MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to interact with customers positively and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide program orientation to candidates.
• Collect eligibility information and documents.
• Follow up with customers and remind about required documentation.
• Advise customers on rights and responsibilities of programs.
• Maintain detailed participant records and ensure data accuracy.
• Enter participant activity data into reporting systems and generate reports.
• Reconcile and validate reports with data sources; report errors.
