Job summary

SER Metro-Detroit is seeking a part-time Intake/Data Specialist at the Ford Community Center division in Detroit. The role involves assisting with initial applicant assessment, collecting eligibility data, and maintaining accurate program records.

You will enter data, manage filings, and prepare reports while supporting program staff. Evening/weekend hours may be required, and a valid MI driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• 1–2 years data entry, accounting and customer service experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail.
• Computer skills to maintain a database and generate reports.
• Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation to candidates for the program.
• Collect eligibility information and related documents.
• Enter data and maintain participant records; generate reports.
• Reconcile and validate reports; assist with filing and organization.
• Contribute to team tasks and other duties as assigned.
