Job summary

First Acceptance Insurance is seeking an Account Manager, Business Development to drive premium growth and strengthen independent agency partnerships. You will engage with agencies, present products, and support onboarding and training to boost quote activity and retention.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Field Sales, IA Support, and IA Training teams, plus ongoing CRM documentation and performance review participation. Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in insurance, inside sales, customer service or account management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Experience partnering with field sales teams in a remote capacity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and support appointment of new independent agencies in line with growth strategy.
• Conduct outbound touch points, emails, and virtual meetings to generate new business.
• Maintain relationships with partners through regular engagement and alignment.
• Coordinate sales activities, pipeline reviews, and joint business planning.
• Present products and value proposition to drive quotes and growth.
• Provide training on quoting systems, underwriting guidelines, and product changes.
• Monitor agency production, retention metrics, and identify trends.
• Document sales activities and agency interactions in the CRM.
