San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is seeking an Instructional Aide for Elementary Basic Skills, Spanish, to support students with core curriculum in kindergarten through elementary grades.

The role focuses on planning lessons, tutoring groups, and assisting in maintaining a positive learning environment. Requires Spanish fluency and an Associates degree or higher, with SFUSD offering competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: An Associates Degree or higher OR 48 college units and a High School Diploma.
• Spanish fluency (reading, writing, and verbal translation) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning lessons and preparing instructional materials.
• Supervise and tutor individuals or small groups in math, reading, science, social studies, and writing.
• Explain subject matter, administer tests, review and correct work, maintain pupil portfolios.
• Operate and maintain instructional equipment and supplies; procure when needed.
• Support classroom discipline and behavior management; assist during field trips and activities.
• Assist other staff and provide information about programs as needed.
