Job summary

The role involves assisting with lessons and activities, clerical tasks, classroom technology, and chaperoning events while aligning with school policies and mission. Competitive hourly pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Paraprofessional Exam required.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• BCI/FBI background check required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25-40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups of students.
• Helps plan classroom activities as directed by the Teacher and supports parent relations.
• Assists with school activities (events, committees, chaperoning).
• Performs clerical duties (grading papers, copies).
• Assists the Teacher in the use of classroom technology.
• Maintains cleanliness of classroom and school areas.
• Follows school philosophy and mission in all activities.
• Other duties including field trips, duty shifts, etc.
