Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Educational Aide II Certification required.
• 15 college hours or Paraprofessional Exam passing score required.
• Bilingual Spanish aides must be fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with instruction and prepare instructional materials.
• Guide individual students or groups in daily activities and exercises.
• Reinforce behavior per ARD plans and support classroom management.
• Maintain administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Supervise students during the school day and support substitutes.
• Organize, clean, disinfect and maintain classroom equipment and supplies.
• Uphold school rules and participate in safety drills.
