The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with two years of college coursework or an associate degree preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of college coursework or an associate degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in instructional and classroom activities under direction of teachers.
• Assist with direct academic and functional instructional activities.
• Tutor students and help explain material; supervise students in various settings.
• Communicate regularly with teachers and parents regarding student needs and progress.
• Possess ability to restrain or manage disruptive behavior when necessary; follow safety protocols.
• Support in developing daily living and self-care skills per individual plans (IEP/cersonal plans).
• Provide clerical support to teachers ( photocopies, material prep, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
